Erin Merryn's Story: Forgiveness Leads to Freedom

This is a video of Erin Merryn's inspirational story about how she overcame sexual abuse.  One part that really stood out to me was when she says, "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."  Please watch.

Reflections on London's Run

London's Run was first held in January of 2006 by the family of London Solomon, a 6 year old girl diagnosed with an aggressive type of leukemia (AML) in May 2005. Sadly, 7 1/2 months after the diagnosis London's courageous fight ended on December 21 after developing an infection.

This year was the final year of London's Run and it was an honor representing Run For Innocence in such an amazing event.  They had everything for families to enjoy including bounce houses, exotic animals, massage tables, snow cone stands, a silent auction and much more.  Our teams elite runner Joel Hill represented Run For Innocence with a second place finish in the 10k reporting a time of just over 50 minutes; Congratulations Joel!

Overall it was a great experience.  People stopped me to ask about Run for Innocence because of our shirts and I was able to get the word out, which was great.  I hope to have a bigger group running with us next time.  I want to thank my loving wife Karina and good friends Tom and Joel for their support.  I also want to thank Tom's wife Kim and their two boys Raynan and Avery for joining us and cheering us on.
